Thank you for your interest in participating in our Court Referral Program as a partner agency!
Your willingness to provide community service volunteer opportunities helps individuals meet their court ordered obligations while serving communities. Organizations we currently work with have found value in the process which introduces a whole new group of people to community service/volunteering who can offer new talents and perspectives to your organization. The hours of community service provided to each organization helps assist their mission and allow court referred volunteers to experience programs in our communities.
CVNL’s Court Referral Program is part of a statewide network that provides high quality, managed volunteer experiences for court referred clients. Our Caseworkers screen and refer the volunteers based on their skills and appropriate fit for each opportunity.
The Court Referral Process:
After completing the partner agency sign up process, CVNL refers volunteers to you agency. Once a client is referred to your agency, they take the responsibility of contacting you and scheduling volunteer shift (based off of your agency requirements). As authorized partner agency staff, you must review and approve timesheets by signing the court referred volunteers paper timesheet each day that they serve.
In addition to our Court Referral Program services, CVNL will also create or update your agency profile, user access and volunteer needs information on our volunteer matching portal (volunteernow.org). The matching portal is an excellent tool for busy volunteer managers to edit existing opportunities create new opportunities for both Court referred and non-court referred volunteers. Signing up as a partner agency takes just a few easy steps:
1 . Provide your Agency Information and Volunteer Opportunity Information.
2. Complete the Agency Memorandum of Understanding (request link sent after we receive item #1)
3. Supply approving agency staff signatures ( request link sent after we receive item #2)
